ConnectingGTA (cGTA) is a regional solution that supports the delivery of provincial electronic health records by linking and integrating electronic patient information from across the care continuum and making it available at the point-of-care to improve the patient and clinician experience.
cGTA is a partnership between eHealth Ontario and the five Greater Toronto Area (GTA) LHINs, with the sixth LHIN (NSM) added in winter of 2012. The Project is a major clinical integration initiative funded by eHealth Ontario's Integration Services Program (ISP) and Canada Health Infoway. University Health Network was selected to serve as the Transfer Payment Agent to lead this initiative on behalf of the six LHINs and eHealth Ontario.

Within the Mississauga Halton LHIN, Trillium Health Partners is our early adopter data contributing hospital. The cGTA team will be working on Wave 2 release which will continue the roll-out to qualified health service providers who will contribute to and gain access to the cGTA data.
