Community Engagement
Creating an integrated and coordinated system begins with community involvement.
Community engagement or involvement refers to the entire spectrum of activities that support two-way interaction between the Mississauga Halton LHIN and the public and providers in order to support health system planning and design.
The benefits of community engagement are numerous, and include increased accountability, planning that is client / patient / family-focused, innovation, and improved health outcomes.
