Three Year Strategic Plan
In late 2006, in Mississauga Halton and across Ontario, Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) developed Integrated Health Service Plans (IHSPs) as their first major initiative. The IHSP is a three-year strategic plan that is consistent with provincial strategic directions and was developed in concert with the community, local health service providers, and key health partners. It establishes the foundation for future LHIN planning initiatives and includes integration priorities and action plans for creating an accessible, coordinated and integrated local health system.
The original document has now been revised to plan health system integration initiatives for the years 2010-2013.
